About Dr. Malik Malik

Dr. Malik graduated from medical school in 2007. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and practiced as an internist at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD for two years. Then he decided to pursue further training and completed Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL, Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at Harlem Hospital in New York and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, NY.

Dr. Malik Practices at different locations and serves as the Medical Director of Respiratory Services at Piedmont Walton Hospital.

His current professional interests are COPD, asthma, interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer screening and advanced bronchoscopy. He also enjoys teaching students and Residents.

Dr. Malik has the following American Board Certifications:

  • ABIM – Critical Care Medicine Board Certified
