About Dr. Cynthia Anunobi
Dr. Cynthia Anunobi is an accomplished Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2017 and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She then pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers.
Dr. Anunobi is recognized for her strong clinical judgment, advanced ventilatory management expertise, bronchoscopy proficiency, and evidence-based approach to treating complex respiratory and critical care conditions. She practices in both inpatient intensive care and outpatient settings, providing patient-centered, compassionate care across the full spectrum of pulmonary medicine.
Her clinical interests include asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension, acute respiratory failure, and sepsis. Dr. Anunobi also enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. She joins Pulmonary & Sleep Specialists of Northeast Georgia with a commitment to a comprehensive, state-of-the-art respiratory care.
